He has become one of Nashville's most sought after songwriters, with 16 number 1 songs, as recognized by Billboard Magazine. 8 of those number 1’s have been in Country Music. Some of his hits include, She’s Somebody’s Daughter, by Drew Baldridge. Everything’s Gonna Be Alright, by Kenny Chesney and David Lee Murphy. I Called Mama, by Tim McGraw. He also was a writer on the 2013 CMA and ACM song of the year, I Drive Your Truck.   Jimmy is married to Sonya Isaacs Yeary, of the award winning gospel group, The Isaacs. They live in Hendersonville, TN with their 3 kids.
