Jimmy yeary has been writing songs in nashville for 28 years. He has become one of Nashville's most sought after songwriters, with 8 top tens on the country music charts, 7 of which have reached #1. Some of his hits include, Anywhere With You,  by Jake Owen. Everything’s Gonna Be Alright,  by Kenny Chesney and David Lee Murphy, and I Called Mama by Tim McGraw. He also was a writer on the 2013 CMA and ACM song of the year,  I Drive Your Truck.  

 

Yeay was the lead singer for the group, Shenandoah, for 8 years.

He is married to Sonya Isaacs Yeary, of the award winning gospel group, The Isaacs. They live in Hendersonville, TN with their 3 kids.
